ISO 22000:2018 is the international standard for food safety management systems. It outlines
standard requirements for organizations in the food chain to control food safety hazards and ensure
safe consumption. The standard integrates with other management systems for effectiveness and
efficiency, providing a framework for implementing a Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
The HACCP - Food Safety Management System meets the requirement of the Codex Alimentarius
Commission (CAC)-established by the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations to bring together international food standard, guidelines and
codes of practice to ensure fair trade of MGT
